Hi, I am Victoria!

I am a stay at home mom with a passion to document and preserve moments in this crazy thing called life! The big moments, the small, and everything in between. I'm an introvert but also love to be apart of the party! I thrive off of intentional conversations and anything that involves being creative! Give me a couple hours of alone time or time to do something creative and my cup will be full!

I have always loved taking photos and then was given a camera in 2017 and that's when I started documenting my own little family. A couple years later I started taking photos here and there for others and it has grown from there!

I started out as Roskamp Photography and as I started to pursue this as a career and not just a side gig I started thinking about a name. One night I woke up to the name Salt and Light Photography repeating in my head. As I looked into the verse Matt 5:13-16 I found it fitting! When I did some more digging about salt and what that meant I realized that salt today is primarily known as a simple spice in the cupboard.. it adds flavor and brings out all the goodness in a dish but back when this verse would have been written salt would not only been a spice to add to add flavor but it also would have been used to preserve things! How fitting! Through photography I want to preserve and add to moments in life while also shining the light of Jesus. This is Salt and Light Photography.
